The water problem in Balintore is getting worse, there is only one pump in the village and it is in need of repair. It was proposed at the Council meeting a windmill be erected to draw water, “there is always wind in Balintore”. In a meeting later in the month, Mr. Skinner, Balintore, said the village was happy with the water supply and did not want to pay extra taxes to the Council for a windmill.
