Captain J. MacLeod, MP for Ross and Cromarty, is giving 2 hand looms for weaving to Gordon Crawford headmaster of Hilton School. He is also sending an instuctor from his factory in Inverness to teach Mr. Crawford how to use them and he in turn will teach the pupils. The plan is for weaving to become a cottage industry and woven articles can be sold to tourists.
